The Fisher House’s Mantra is a family’s love is good medicine. 

If families and care givers feel safe and loved in this environment, in this home, they will be able to give the best care possible for their loved ones in the medical center. 

This is the first Fisher House in West Virginia that is 100% funded by donations. We bring a very specialized program to West Virginia residents where anyone outside of the 50-mile perimeter of the VA Medical Center is eligible to stay. We provide a service to those who may not have the means or may be staying for an extended period of time to save them money in order to take care of their loved ones.

  • 2 full service, commercial high end stocked kitchens

At the Fisher House we want you to be as comfortable as you can in our communal living environment. It’s important that you feel happy, loved, and cared for so you can take care of your veterans. We have everything that you need to feel right at home!
